Warning Letter Watch Corrections Policy

We aim to mirror the official government record accurately. If something is wrong or out of date, tell us.

How to request a correction or removal

Use the correction request form on this page. Tell us the page URL, what is wrong, your proposed fix, and (if you have one) a link to the official record or update that supports your request (for example, an agency letter or docket entry). Company representatives should say who they are and their role. Email sent to support@warningletterwatch.com receives an automatic reply pointing to this form.

What happens next

• We acknowledge your request by email and review it within 5 business days.
• We use automated tools, including an AI model, to compare your request with our record and the official FDA record. Automated tools only correct a specific data field (such as a date, issuing office, subject line or close-out status) when the official FDA record confirms the change. Every other request, including any request about removal, individuals, legal concerns or how a record is described, is reviewed by a person.
• We email you the outcome. If you disagree with an automated outcome, reply to the outcome email or submit a new request asking for review by a person.
• If our page does not match the official record, we correct it.
• If there is an official update (for example, FDA close-out letters (shown as “Close-out issued”)), we add it and update the status.
• When FDA issues a close-out letter, we update the badge from Unknown to Close-out issued and link the close-out letter. If we cannot confirm status, the badge reads Unknown.
• Every record shows the status “as of” the date we last checked.
• If personal information about an individual appears by mistake, we remove it promptly.

What we don’t do

We do not remove accurate public records solely because someone asks. We will, however, correct errors, add official updates, and link to your company’s official response if the agency has published it. We do not accept payment to change, hide or remove records.
